Wedding plans!

I've finally sorted out a few things for the wedding!

We've found a venue for the wedding reception.  It's nothing posh, but it's a private room in a restaurant and it has lovely food and a nice relaxed feel to it.  As it's a very small wedding with close family only I think it'll suit us down to the ground!

I managed to get bargain wedding invitations from E-bay!  I was only having a look to get some inspiration and I saw these:

I was amazed when I bid and won them for £0.99 for 24 invitations!  They arrived earlier this week and they are actually nicer than they look, I was really happy.

I am very lucky and I have a friend who is starting a new career as a designer.  As well as designing cross stitch, she's also an amazing designer of bead work and she's making me a headband to wear for the wedding.  I feel very honoured!  I would urge you to pay a visit to her blog page Tapestry Moon and check out her work.

Stitching wise, I managed to make some progress on my Blue Moon SK last week and this week I'll be stitching on Henry.  I'm saving my progress pictures until the next WIPocalypse update, if you are not familiar with WIPocalpse then pay a trip to Measi's Musings (I know it's a similar name but I didn't copy, honest!) and check out the info!
