International Hermit and Stitch Weekend - June

Sorry I'm posting this a little late but I was so close to a finish I just wanted to hang and and get the last little bit of beading done!

So after being a UFO for 5 years or so, Henry VIII is finally finished!

I'm so happy to get this done and it feels so good to see it completed.  I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it and I know that there are a lot of people who could have done it much better, but it's not too bad.  It's going to be going to my mum, who has loved it from the day I bought it as she was with me.  She's going to get it framed herself so that she can choose the right frame for her.

Thanks very much for all the encouragement that kept me going when it was close to being thrown back in the cupboard!

  1. What a fabulous picture! Where would I get the chart? I'm a history nut and I would love to do that.

    1. Hi Bea,

It was bought as a kit from DMC called Henry VIII and his 6 wives with the reference number: K3403. It's still produced so shouldn't be too hard to get hold of.

      Hope that helps!
