Secondly, Happy International Women's Day! You all inspire me with your beautiful works of art!
Now to my WIPocalypse update pictures. As I did last month, I'll post the last month's WIP picture alongside the current picture so you can see how much (or how little) progress has been made.
First up, TT Violet Sometimes - Jasmine Becket Griffith. This is a HAED chart but a very small one, stitched on 18ct cream Aida. I have to say, I'm loving stitching this and can't wait to see it come to life.

Next up, SK Blue Moon - Linda Ravencroft. Another HAED piece, this is for the Freebie SAL from the Bulletin Board. If you've read my other post, you'll know I had a little flip out over this one after I decided to take out some of the stitching. The first picture will be one taken after I had to take out the stitching rather than last month's picture.

There isn't much progress on this, but I'm happy that I've put in any stitches at all. It's all a step in the right direction. The first picture was taken with my phone, so sorry it's not too clear, but should give some idea of where I was at.
Now to Henry VIII, one that I am really keen to finish soon so that I can start my next non-HAED project!

Lastly, a small picture that I've stitched to make into a card for an online friend who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
That's it for WIPocalypse March, thanks for taking the time to look at my work and read my post. Please feel free to leave a comment if you wish!
Looks like you're making great progress on all your pieces. Henry is looking great, I love all the rich colours on this piece.
ReplyDeleteSo very nice of you to stitch a card for your friend. I wish her all the best.
Everything is looking great! You've made a ton of progress on your violet piece, and I'm really enjoying seeing Henry's wives come along. I'm glad you were able to go back to the frogged piece. Hopefully, that will be the end of the frogs for that one!
ReplyDeleteWow, some serious projects here. Looks like much progress...keep up the great work.

Lots of progress made - congratulations! Love the little card you made your friend, she will be really thrilled. As a breast cancer survivor, I know how much little kindnesses are appreciated.
ReplyDeleteNice projects you have on the go.
ReplyDeleteYou have done so much on Violet.
You did quite a lot, i love the little card that you've made, and all the other projects too.
ReplyDeleteI think that Henry will soon have all his wives next to him, good luck with that one.
Hugs Yvon.

Hi, returning the following here, had a little trouble finding you as your profile is set as "private"! But here I am now and ready to comment on your lovely stitching.
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, thanks for making the effort to track me down! I've changed my profile now, thank you for pointing that out to me.
DeleteNice work on some intense projects! Will be watching to see the finished of Henry the 8th. Just read "The Other Boleyn Girl" so Henry the 8th is fresh in my mind!
